Cristiano Ronaldo hasn’t had a great couple of weeks. First his Man United contract was terminated, and then his beloved Portugal team got outclassed by an excellent Morocco side. To add insult to injury, he’ll be watching the Premier League Boxing Day action from home.

CR7 will be taking time off over this festive period as he continues the search for a new club. It’s not exactly in Cristiano’s nature to rest though, so it’s more likely that he’ll be smashing the gym while all of us eat mince pies at home.
