Bafana Bafana star Percy Tau’s English club Brighton & Hove Albion face an all-English Premier League tie in the fifth round of this season’s FA Cup.

The Seagulls will be up against Leicester City after both sides safely negotiated their way into what is effectively the Last 16 stage of the knockoout tournament.

Brighton booked their spot after a 2-1 win over League One side Blackpool on Saturday.

Tau started Brighton’s clash against Blackpool and was substituted around the hour mark.

Meanwhile, Leicester came from behind to beat Brentford 3-1 on Sunday.

While no date has been set yet for the fifth round, they will be played in the week beginning Monday, 8 February.

Brighton will be away to Leicester.

The draw for the quarter-finals will be made after the fifth round.

Brighton’s best result to date in the FA Cup has been a runner-up finish to Manchester United in the 1983 final. The final at Wembley finished 2-2. A replay was held five days later which Manchester United won 4-0.
