Brighton & Hove Albion boss Graham Potter made ELEVEN changes to his team to face Cardiff City in their League Cup second round clash on Tuesday, but there was still no sign of Percy Tau.

Despite the changes made to the line-up which beat Watford 2-0 in the English Premier League over the weekend, Brighton still advanced thanks to another 2-0 win at the second tier Bluebirds.

Jakub Moder (ninth minute) and Andi Zeqiri (55th minute) both scored their first ever goals for the Seagulls.

Percy Tau wasn’t named among the substitutes for the match and there’s been no confirmation of late whether he is in fact still in South Africa awaiting his visa documents to travel to Egypt where he’s expected to put pen to paper on a contract with Al Ahly – or if he’s back in England.

Percy Tau’s much hyped reuniting with former Mamelodi Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane at the Egyptian giants will need to be confirmed sooner rather than later as the transfer window’s closing date of 31 August is fast approaching.
