Leicester and Nigeria Super Eagles striker Kelechi Iheanacho, nicknamed Seniorman, is a seriously efficient player at the highest level in the EPL.

Leicester striker Kelechi Iheanacho is a deadly efficient EPL striker

The 26-year-old Nigerian, once of Manchester City, is the 10th most efficient player in EPL history in terms of minutes per goal/assist, in other words, how long it takes him for any direct goal contribution on average. Leicester have scored four goals in each of their last two Premier League matches. Iheanacho has scored in each game.

On average, Iheanacho is scoring or assisting an EPL goal every 111 minutes on the pitch. That’s decent going. Among players with 150+ appearances, only nine other players have a better ratio than the Nigerian. Look at some of those names!

On Wednesday night, league leaders Arsenal face defending champions Manchester City in undoubtedly the biggest EPL game of the season to date. A win for City would send them top on goal difference, and the omens for them are good, since they’ve beaten the Gunners in 10 consecutive league outings.
