Manchester United star Cristiano Ronaldo celebrated becoming the all-time highest goalscorer in men’s football by splashing out £200 000 (R3.9 million) on a brand new Aston Martin.

The Portuguese superstar made history last Saturday after scoring a hat-trick against Tottenham Hotspur, bringing his total goal scored to a new record of 807.

To celebrate the historic landmark, Cristiano Ronaldo turned up at Manchester United training this week in an Aston Martin DBS Superleggera convertible.

According to the Daily Mail, the high-performance vehicle boasts a 5.2-litre twin-turbocharged V12 engine and is capable of delivering an impressive 715 bhp. 

The ride can reach 60 miles per hour (97km/h) in 3.4 seconds and can reach a top speed of 211 miles per hour (340km/h).

Don’t worry too much about whether or not the 37-year-old can afford the monthly repayments.

Ronaldo reportedly earns £510 000 (R10 million) PER WEEK at Manchester United alone.

Cristiano Ronaldo owns several other supercars

That amount excludes his other incomes including the renting of his private jet or any of the multiple hotels he owns around the world.   

The petrolhead has numerous expensive cars and splashed a cool £250 000 on a Bentley Flying Spur just last month.

On top of that, he already owns TWO Bugattis worth £2.15 million and £1.7 million apiece.
