Solskjaer was sacked over the weekend after yet another embarrassing defeat in the English Premier League – this time a 4-1 hammering by Watford.

They trail log-leaders Chelsea by a full 12 points.

Most worrying perhaps for Red Devils supporters is the fact their team has only scored 20 goals and have conceded 21 to date.

By contrast, Chelsea have scored 30 and leaked just four.

Don’t feel too sorry for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. He reported reached a £7.5 million (R160 million) settlement agreement with Manchester United.

Cristiano Ronaldo, who rejoined the Old Trafford giants this season from Juventus in Italy, took to his various social media platforms on Monday to write: He’s been my striker when I first came to Old Trafford and he’s been my coach since I came back to Man. United. But most of all, Ole is an outstanding human being. I wish him the best in whatever his life has reserved for him. Good luck, my friend! You deserve it!
