Ahead of the game, Chiefs coach Arthur Zwane offered the following squad update, although it remains unclear whether Bonfils-Caleb Bimenyimana or Itumeleng Khune will be available.

“We’ve got everyone available, except for a few individuals who are also important, but other than that we have everyone available,” Zwane commented.

Chiefs had reported a ‘clean bill of health’ ahead of Wednesday’s game against TS Galaxy, but Bimenyimana was not able to form part of the matchday squad.

According to SABC Sport, star striker Bonfils-Caleb Bimenyimana is said have picked up an injury that will keep him out of action for the next four weeks.

In information released on Wednesday ahead of the crucial clash against TS Galaxy, coach Arthur Zwane made no mention of an injury to Bimenyimana, but he has now acknowledged there is a “challenge” they are assessing.

“We will get the doctor’s report tomorrow (Friday) because we have an off day today,” Zwane told the media on Thursday.  “I don’t know how long he will be out for. What I know is that he has a little challenge here and there but we are still waiting for the doctor’s report.”

Chiefs could also be without Khune. The veteran keeper was set to start in his return against TS Galaxy on Wednesday, but he then felt pain in his knee while warming up, leading to his removal from the starting XI.
