Pitso Mosimane has taken it upon himself to officially declare the upcoming CAF Champions League final between Kaizer Chiefs and Al Ahly as a state of ‘war’.
Africa will be gripped with football fever heading into next weekend’s CAF Champions League final between Egyptian giants Al Ahly and South African giants Kaizer Chiefs.
Al Ahly head coach Pitso Mosimane, who knows his opponents all too well, took it upon himself to declare war during a light hearted Twitter exchange.

The battle lines are drawn and there will be casualties. It’s officially a war and the public will have to choose the side they fancy as there’ll be no fence-sitting says Pitso Mosimane ahead of his side’s showdown against Kaizer Chiefs.
“See you in Casablanca. Date is set. I can see none of the two teams Kaizer Chiefs vs Al Ahly have declared war yet. I wonder Why? Should I jump first?” a part of Pitso Mosimane’s tweet read.
Al Ahly were in full flow last night when they demolished Smouha in the Egyptian Premier League last night courtesy of a 4-0 scoreline. Pitso Mosimane’s men next face Al Mokawloon on Thursday night.
The 2020/2021 CAF Champions League final takes place on 17 July 2021 between Al Ahly and Kaizer Chiefs in Casablanca. The match is scheduled to kick-off at 21:00 in South Africa.
