Tau rejoined his Al Ahly teammates at the training grounds on Monday in his bid to be included in the next matchday squad.
Al Ahly’s upcoming game is a CAF Champions League fixture against Tau’s former club Mamelodi Sundowns at Al Salam Stadium on Saturday.

Should Tau be included in the matchday squad on Saturday, it would be the first time he gets to play against Sundowns.

Tau left Sundowns for Brighton & Hove Albion in July 2018 after enjoying huge success with Pitso Mosimane as his coach.
The South African duo will undoubtedly want to put one past their former club, Sundowns, in this first leg fixture.
