Orlando Pirates do Mzansi proud with CAF Confederation Cup win on the road

Orlando Pirates found their goal scoring touch in the nick of time to claim a priceless victory in their CAF Confederation Cup first leg semi-final in Libya on Sunday.

The Buccaneers beat Al Ahly Tripoli 2-0 to take a handy lead into the second leg next Sunday, 15 May at the Orlando Stadium.

Orlando Pirates scored goals through Innocent Maela (eighth minute) and Goodman Mosele (29th minute).

The Soweto giants hadn’t found the back of the net in their last three DStv Premiership matches.

Meanwhile, the second CAF Confederation Cup semi-final first leg tie ended in a 1-0 home win for the DR Congo’s TP Mazembe over RS Berkane of Morocco.
