What a time to be a Mamelodi Sundowns fan. The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has awarded two Kabo Yellow players with Team of the Week selections.

MAMELODI SUNDOWNS 3 – 0 AL-MERRIKH

Going into the final group game against Al-Merrikh on Saturday at the FNB Stadium, Kabo Yellow had already qualified for the quarter-final.

Despite making several changes to offer playing opportunities to squad players, Mamelodi Sundowns’ second-string team still went on to outclass the Sudanese 3-0.

The three points were sealed courtesy of goals from George Maluleka, Surprise Ralani, and Kermit Erasmus.
