Mamelodi Sundowns were handed a tough task in this season’s CAF Champions League after the draw was conducted in Cairo on Monday.

Masandawana were drawn in Group B alongside Al Ahly (Egypt), Al Hilal (Sudan) and Cameroon’s Coton Sport.
Al Ahly were the top-ranked team in Pot 1 while Mamelodi Sundowns were rated highest in Pot 2.
Al Hilal were fourth – and worst – in Pot 3, while Coton Sport were second-best in Pot 4.
