Kaizer Chiefs make their debut in the CAF Champions League group stages this evening when they host Guinea giants Horoya AC at the FNB Stadium at 18:00.
Kaizer Chiefs have been in disastrous form in domestic action with the Glamour Boys sitting in ninth position on the DStv Premiership at the halfway mark.
Gavin Hunt’s men however have managed to create history by qualifying for the CAF Champions League group stages however Kaizer Chiefs will need to get off to a good start at home this evening.

“Every game we play always comes with a certain pressure and personally I always want to do well as do the team in every competition,” Kaizer Chiefs head coach Gavin Hunt said.
“If we approach each game with the right intensity we’ll be good and hopefully this leads us in the right path in the league as well. I think these types of games are good for us and gives us a totally different perspective in how football is played in other parts of Africa because the game is totally different to what Kaizer Chiefs experiences in the PSL.
“The setup, structure and also the physicality and size of the players everything is totally different. It’s a great avenue for us to go and discover so let’s see how far we can go.”
