Gavin Hunt names traveling Kaizer Chiefs squad to face Wydad

Kaizer Chiefs head coach Gavin Hunt has named his traveling squad to face Moroccan giants Wydad Casablanca in their CAF Champions League group stages opener.

Kaizer Chiefs were dumped out of the Nedbank Cup at the hands of minnows Richards Bay FC on Sunday but will have little time to overcome their shock defeat. The Amakhosi jet out to North Africa tomorrow ahead of Saturday’s clash.

The Amakhosi will be flying via Asia to Morocco and are expected to arrive in Casablanca on Thursday afternoon. Gavin Hunt has since named his 18-men squad to face Wydad Casablanca.

There’s no place for the likes of Siphelele Ntshangase, Ntiya-Ntiya and Bruce Bvuma in Gavin Hunt’s squad. Kearyn Baccus, Lebogang Manyama, Lazarus Kambole and Eric Mathoho are also missing while Khama Billiat remains out through injury.
