Usuthu will need to overturn a 1-0 first-leg deficit when they take on Big Bullets at the Bingu National Stadium in Malawi with a place in the second qualifying round up for grabs.

AmaZulu are yet to win a match this season having suffered defeat in the quarter-finals of the MTN8 followed a loss and two draws in the DStv Premiership before the first match at home against Big Bullets.

Most worrying perhaps for coach Benni McCarthy is that his team has scored just ONE goal in five matches to date – in their first match of the season – meaning they have gone almost four and a half matches without finding the back of the net.

Looking ahead to the encounter, winger Qalinge admits it won’t be an “easy task” for his AmaZulu team.

“Everyone is well prepared for this game, the mindset is there and we are hoping to achieve the same objective towards this match,” he said, as quoted by FARPost.

“It won’t be an easy task, they came, they managed to get a goal so we’ve got nothing to lose and everything to win.

“We just have to go there and fight, not only for us but for the people we left behind in the country.

“It’s a game that we have to win and we have to go home with a positive result.”

Kick-off is at 16:00 SA time.
