Just a few days after being relegated to the ABC Motsepe League, Black Leopards are back in the Motsepe Foundation Championship for next season.

Black Leopards are guaranteed to finish in the bottom two going into the final round of matches of the Motsepe Foundation Championship.

As things stand, Leopards are rock bottom with 22 points from 29 games while Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila (TTM) are placed 15th with 23 points.

The two Limpopo-based side trail Polokwane City Rovers with eight and seven points respectively, meaning they won’t be able to reach the 30-point mark.

Now, according to Soccer Laduma, Leopards will remain in the Motsepe Foundation Championship next season after successfully buying their way in.

Several media reports claim that Leopards have bought the status of All Stars FC; a Gauteng-based team that played Orlando Pirates in the Orlando Pirates in the Nedbank Cup.

They are tied on points with Northern Cape-based outfit Hungry Lions who have also played the same number of games.

Going into the final match of the season, All Stars could finish fourth provided they beat Casric Stars on Sunday.

The lowest they can finish is fifth should they drop points and Hungry Lions beat Magesi in the other fixture on the same day.
