Pitso Mosimane sensationally parted ways with Al Ahly moments ago. Now, Benni could face strong competition in the race to become Orlando Pirates head coach.

Mosimane has just been axed by the Egyptian giants much like McCarthy was by AmaZulu.

Now, both men are available with Pirates management looking for a new coach.

McCarthy confirmed that he will coach Orlando Pirates. With Fadlu Davids recently facing the axe it seemed like just a mater of time before McCarthy was named as head coach. However, if there is one man who can make the entire Bucs management reconsider this it is Mosimane.

Jingles is now jobless and his heart is certainly in South Africa. He regularly visits his country of birth whenever he can – during mid season breaks, vacations or regular family visits.

He touched the hearts of millions of South Africans when he coached Mamelodi Sundowns to a historic first-ever CAF Champions League in 2016.

Now, he could be on his way back to SA after asking to leave Al Ahly. Fancy a return to the PSL to coach Pirates? Well, this is certainly possible. I mean, why not, Pirates have huge history and Mosimane could lead them to great heights.

A return to Sundowns is not very likely and Chiefs have already appointed Arthur Zwane on a three-year contract.
