Farmer’s league? Bayern Munich win 10th consecutive Bundesliga title!

Bayern Munich have been crowned the Bundesliga champions for the 10th consecutive season following Saturday’s 3-1 win over Borrusia Dortmund.

Serge Gnabry and Robert Lewandowski and Jamal Musiala all scored for Bayern while Emre Can got the consolation goal for Dortmund.

As a result, Bayern opened a 12-point gap at the top of the Bundesliga with three games to go, meaning none of the teams behind them can catch them.

BAYERN MUNICH OVERTAKE JUVENTUS

Bayern are the first team to win 10 consecutive league titles in Europe’s five big leagues, and they have now overtaken Juventus.

Juventus previously won nine consecutive league titles between 2012 and 2017 but that record is now held by Bayern Munich.

French outfit Lyon won seven consecutive Ligue 1 titles between 2002 and 2008 while Inter Milan won five Serie A titles between 2006 and 2010.

European powerhouses Real Madrid won five consecutive La Liga titles on two occasions between 1961 and 1965, and again between 1986 and 1990.
