According to Spanish source El Pais, Barcelona and Gabon striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang was the victim of a violent robbery early this morning at his home in Castelldefels (Barcelona). At least four armed men climbed into the garden, threatened him with firearms and iron bars and beat him, according to police sources.

The thieves intimidated Aubameyang and his wife with weapons until they have managed to open a safe from which they stole several jewels and other valuables. The thieves, according to several witnesses, fled Aubameyang’s home in a white Audi A3.
