Hugo Broos has confirmed the Bafana Bafana squad for the upcoming international friendlies in Europe.

Having named a provisional Bafana Bafana squad a week ago, Broos has now trimmed the group.

The Bafana Bafana squad will leave South Africa on 21 March, flying to Paris before repairing to Belgium for their match against Guinea on 25 March.

After the trip to Belgium, the Bafana Bafana squad returns to France to face the world champions in Lille on 29 March.

Broos will be hopeful that these matches will prepare his Bafana Bafana squad for their upcoming Africa Cup of Nations qualifying campaign.

This Bafana Bafana squad includes four players based overseas in Percy Tau, Lyle Foster, Fagrie Lakay and Bongokuhle Hlongwane.

The bulk of the squad is locally based, while there is also space for recently released defender Siyanda Xulu.

Former Kaizer Chiefs defender Xulu parted ways with his Israeli Premier League side Hapoel Tel Aviv two weeks ago.

The Bafana Bafana squad reflects who is in form in the Premier Soccer League and there are few surprises in the group.

There is still no room for Bongani Zungu, who has found football hard to come by at Ligue 2 side Amiens.

SuperSport United stopper Ronwen Williams is expected to retain the captaincy.
