SOLD OUT! Massive demand in France to watch Bafana Bafana

Bafana Bafana’s upcoming friendly against reigning world champions France on Tuesday, 29 March has been SOLD OUT.

Bafana Bafana’s friendly against reigning world champions France on Tuesday, 29 March has been SOLD OUT.

Such is the demand to watch Bafana Bafana in action – or should that be Les Bleus – that the ‘sold out’ signs went up on Thursday after all 50 000 tickets were snapped up.

The match will take place at the Stade Pierre-Mauroy which is the home ground of Ligue 1 side LOSC Lille.

The match will kick off at 21:15 SA time.

At the time of publishing there has been no confirmation as to whether the clash will be screen LIVE in South Africa.

Bafana Bafana will play their first friendly on Friday, 25 March against fellow African side Guinea.

Kick-off in that match is at 19:00 (SA time) and the fixtures will be screened on SABC Sport, and, as always, on The South African website.
