The South African also reported that Broos has dropped a bombshell that Mamelodi Sundowns will be crowned as DStv Premiership champions this season.

He added that the fact that coach Rulani Mokwena’s side struggled to win their second CAF Champions League was because they didn’t have tough competition in their domestic campaign.

“I think we will have the same season like the one before, and the one before that, Sundowns will be champions,” said Broos per Phakaaathi.

“They (Sundowns) have won every game. When I see Chiefs and Pirates, they normally have to be the biggest opponents, and this is not what we expect from those teams.

“So yes, the quality of the PSL has not increased. It has stayed the same.”

As things stand, it remains to be seen if Ntseki and Broos will eventually iron out their differences.
