The purpose of the meeting was to iron out issues involving Mosele who failed to honour his call-up to Bafana Bafana under Broos in October 2021.

At the time, Broos angrily said Mosele would never be considered for future Bafana Bafana call-ups but he has swallowed his words as the Pirates man is back in the setup for the Guinea and France matches.

According to Broos, the fruitful meeting with both Mosele and Ncikazi was the turnaround – and he’s happy that they all on the same page.

Broos refused to dwell too much into the challenges Mosele faced as he said whatever happened at the time is in the past, and that the Pirates man is a Bafana Bafana player.

“I had a meeting with Goodman and with coach Ncikazi, and it was a good meeting,” said Broos on SABC Sport channel 124.

“So, for me, it’s case is closed, and there he is [in the squad]. He had to be there already in October but we don’t talk about it anymore.

“So, now I saw how he’s playing at Orlando Pirates and I was happy with his performances. So, it’s okay, it’s up to him.”

“But I couldn’t go on [overlook him] because there was a problem, I had to solve the problem,” continued Broos.

“So, we had the problem in October, okay, and I was very angry at him… very angry because I couldn’t understand that how the player would do something like that but it’s okay.”

“Again, we talked and for me, Goodman is a player, and at the moment a good player, and what happened in the past is in the past, finish,” added Broos.
