Bafana Bafana failed to qualify for the 2022 FIFA World Cup after controversially falling to Ghana in the final match of the qualifiers on Sunday.

“If it was me, I’d have bought that contract with the money that I’m giving Hugo Broos and bring Pitso. He has proven himself, he’s a South African and he understands the players,” he added.

“He was going to call players according to his philosophy. I’m sure if you give him six years… I don’t think they would give him… but if they were to, he would appoint, from the junior teams, coaches with the same philosophy as his so that players don’t struggle when they get to the senior team,” explained Khanye.
