BROOS EXPLAINS BLOM’S CALL-UP

“I think when I saw the performances of Kaizer Chiefs the last five or six weeks, they were struggling a bit although they are doing better better little by little now, but Blom was always performing,” Broos told SABC Sport as quoted by KickOff.

“He was not disappointing, even in a team that was not really playing well.

“I think if you can do that…and then the way he is playing now in that position – because before he was at right-back or right offensive midfielder – but what he is doing now is also what I am looking for a defensive midfielder.”
