FIFA world rankings update: Where do Bafana Bafana come in?

FIFA have issued an update to their men’s football team rankings after the recent international window.

Bafana stay put

Bafana Bafana achieved a win and a draw during the period, keeping two clean sheets, but they weren’t able to move up from their 73rd spot of the rankings.

Belgium are still the world’s highest-ranked football team overall, having held the top spot for more than two years now.

Meanwhile in Africa, Senegal hold the honour of being the highest-ranked side in 20th spot. 13 of the top 20 nations in the world hail from Europe, including seven of the top ten.
