CONFIRMED: Meet the final 10 Africa teams in the running for 2022 World Cup

Africa group stage qualifying for the 2022 Soccer World Cup in Qatar belatedly concluded on Friday when FIFA threw out SAFA’s appeal to have their qualifier against Ghana replayed.

As a result, the 10 African countries still in the running to represent the continent are now finalised (barring a pointless appeal to CAS by SAFA).

There were 10 groups of four countries with the winners of each heading through to the next round where they will be drawn into five home and away matches.

The winners of those five matches will represent Africa at next year’s World Cup spectacle in Qatar.
