We can make them suffer – Broos

“I think we will try to have the game under our control. If we don’t have control of the game, we will suffer for 90 minutes.” Bafana head coach Hugo Broos said ahead of this afternoon’s encounter.

“Once we have control of the game, then we can do what we like to do, but before that, it will be very difficult because we can’t be focused on what they are doing. That is something crucial for the game.

“I said it before, if you want to be first in your group, you’ll have to win one away game. On Saturday we have a chance and then next month in Ghana. Logically, if I can say, it is easier for Bafana to win in Ethiopia than in Ghana because Ghana is a better team than Ethiopia.

“We have a chance to do it. If we can succeed (on Saturday) and not forgetting about the Bafana next match on Tuesday, then we can do a very good operation. It is up to us to start the game strongly, not to be dominated from the first minute and with the qualities that we have, we can let them suffer.”
