Bafana Bafana need just a point to progress to the next round of the World Cup qualifiers but how will they line up.

Here we gaze into the crystal ball and hope to divine the Bafana Bafana starting XI against Ghana on Sunday 14 November.

Bafana Bafana starting XI prediction

Ronwen Williams will start in goal provided there are no mishaps with injury or illness ahead of the match at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium.

Terrence Mashego lost concentration a few times last time out but his energy and enterprise will be needed in Ghana and he should start down the left.

Having done his job with aplomb last time out, Sydney Mobbie should retain his place down the right flank.

Njabulo Ncgobo put in a great shift against Zimbabwe but Bafana Bafana missed the experience of Siyanda Xulu and the Hapoel Tel Aviv man could come in for Rushine de Reuck.

Teboho Mokoena was once again brilliant in the midfield last time out but he needs more from his playing partner, and to this end we expect Mduduzi Mdantsane to come in for Thibang Phete.

Percy Tau should once again be deployed in a traditional number ten role.

Keagan Dolly showed that his Bafana recall was deserved and Hugo Broos should back him to have an impact again,

Bongokuhle Hlongwane got into great positions against Zimbabwe but couldn’t apply the finish, however, he probably did enough to suggest that he should start ahead of Fagrie Lakay.

The game didn’t suit Evidence Makgopa last time out but his height and physicality will come in handy against Ghana.
