SAFA responded to calls for Broos to have a debriefing meeting with the coaches of Kaizer Chiefs, Orlando Pirates and Mamelodi Sundowns. The Bafana Bafana coach was involved in a series of back-and-forth spats around several issues.

“I can confirm to you is that I will wait for the coach (Broos) to submit his programme and we can discuss this possibility. That’s all I can say for now,” responded SAFA CEO Tebogo Motlanthe to SoccerLaduma.

Lack of communication was the theme of these arguments. Amakhosi did not agree with Broos on Njabulo Ngcobo’s best position.

Pirates and Sundowns had issues with the lack of data given on their players.
