A week ago, Broos vowed to never play Njabulo Ngcobo in midfield as he believes he’s more comfortable as a defender, saying he didn’t understand why Chiefs use him in central midfield.

And Baxter responded, saying he spends more time with Ngcobo at the Chiefs training, adding that Broos should play the utility player wherever he wants him.

Baxter further revealed that he had not seen Broos at Naturena, before inviting him for coffee in order to make him understand how his Bafana Bafana players are used at Chiefs.

Now, Broos, and while he didn’t want to respond on the matter, said seeing PSL coaches criticize him in the media is ‘cheap’.

He also requested them to talk to him directly if they have questions or are frustrated about what he’s doing as head coach of Bafana Bafana instead of going to the media.

“Listen, I won’t talk about it any more. I said what I said, and this is enough for me,” Broos told reporters.

“I hope, and I just hope, that in future, if they (PSL coaches) are frustrated or they have questions, I will talk to them. Why not?” he asked.

“And I can understand if they have questions or they are frustrated but I can’t understand that you criticize a colleague in front of journalists. This is cheap,” he said.

“So, for me, this part is finished. It’s behind me, and it’s over. So, for the rest, I don’t want to give any comment on that,” concluded Broos.
