Bafana Bafana coach Hugo Broos has made THREE changes to his squad ahead of today’s friendly against Sierra Leone!

Hugo Broos’ Bafana side return to action this afternoon when they host Sierra Leone in a friendly clash.
South Africa are winless in their previous four matches under coach Hugo Broos.

They went down against the likes of Moroccan, France and Ghana while drawing against Guinea.
Hugo Broos has confirmed no less than three changes to his Bafana squad due to injuries.
Ashley Du Preez, Siyanda Xulu and Siyanda Msani replace Lyle Foster, Thibang Phete and Terrence Mashego from his originally named squad.

“We chose these teams because we didn’t want any more big teams and again have a defeat.” Bafana coach Hugo Broos said as quoted by TimesLive.
“Then we saw what happened with Ghana, even when we had six games. Four wins and one draw, people were not happy because we lost to Ghana.
“Then we [suffered] a big defeat to France, nobody talked about the world champions … it was a humiliation.
“Then came Morocco, it was a little bit the same as Ghana. Because Bafana can’t lose in Morocco.
“We couldn’t afford to play against a big, strong team and have a defeat again.”

“This is not a guarantee we will win and we don’t want to underestimate Sierra Leone or Botswana.
If we don’t play on a good level against these teams we will have trouble again.”
