Andre Ayew only made a total of 13 appearances for the club as they retained their Premier League status following their win against Arsenal.

Ghana captain Andre Ayew will leave Nottingham Forest after his contract with the club ended following the completion of the 2022/23 English Premier League season.

The 33-year-old joined Forest on a six-month deal after leaving Qatari giants Al Sadd back in January.

Ayew only made a total of 13 appearances for the club as they retained their Premier League status following their memorable 1-0 home victory over Arsenal back in May.

Andre Ayew, who previously played for Swansea City and West Ham United, failed to convince manager Steve Cooper to extend his contract after failing to score a single goal in the EPL in his five months stay.

The Black Stars captain will have to find a new club before the start of next season with rumours saying he was under the radar of Everton before deciding to join Nottingham earlier this year.

Andre Ayew’s contract not renewed by Forest

The 33-year-old enjoyed a stellar career in England during his days with Swansea City scoring 12 times in debut season in the EPL. His move to West Ham was decent but only netted nine times in 47 appearance before a brief loan spell in Turkey, where he played for Fenerbache.

Ayew’s best footballing days where at Olympique Marseille. During his time in France, the winger scored 60 goals in his six season there and was named the club’s footballer of the season in 2011.

For Ghana, Dede has won 113 caps and appeared in three FIFA World Cups.

South African soccer fans have little to no love for Andre Ayew or Ghana after what transpired in their 2022 Soccer World Cup qualifier in 2021.
