Al Ahly head coach Pitso Mosimane is facing an uncertain future, this time over a clause he reportedly wants in the new contract.

According to iDiskiTimes, Mosimane could very well leave Al Ahly this week IF the two parties don’t agree terms on the new deal.

The publication reports that Mosimane wants a ‘protection’ clause inserted in the contract that Al Ahly have put on the table.

And that’s because of the club’s nature of firing coaches when positive results and trophies are not forthcoming as expected.

Mosimane has been facing heavy criticism from a section of Al Ahly fans and former players from the first day he joined the club exactly a year ago.

However, the past 12 months have successful for Mosimane as he claimed four major trophies with Al Ahly – including two CAF Champions League titles.

Mosimane still has a year left on his contract with the Red Devils, and he’s reported to have been offered a two-year deal.
