1. Raïs M’Bolhi (Five)

Raïs M’Bolhi has been rock solid throughout this tournament, keeping clean sheets in all of Algeria’s first four matches.

Having shut out Kenya, Senegal, Tanzania and Guinea, he also saved Wilfried Bony’s penalty in the quarter-final shootout against Ivory Coast. M’Bolhi was also instrumental in Algeria’s 1-0 final win over Senegal, keeping his second clean sheet against the Lions of Teranga during the tournament and making some good saves.

2. Alfred Gomis (Four)

Alfred Gomis was brought into Senegal’s starting lineup following their 1-0 defeat to Algeria, replacing Edouard Mendy after he picked up an injury in the warmup ahead of their next match.

The SPAL goalkeeper hardly looked back, keeping clean sheets against Kenya, Uganda, Benin and Tunisia before Algeria finally got through in the final.

3. Mohamed El Shenawy and   André Onana (Three)

Egypt’s El Shenawy and Cameroon’s Onana both kept three successive clean sheets in the group stage but came unstuck in the last 16.

The hosts were knocked out following Thembinkosi Lorch’s goal for South Africa while Ajax Amsterdam’s Onana shipped three goals as Cameroon went down to Nigeria.
