Seabelo Senatla becomes SA’s leading try scorer as Blitzboks win Wellington title [video]

If you didn’t know by now, Seabelo Senatla reaffirmed his status as Sevens legend over the weekend.

He’s only 23, but he’s already South Africa’s leading try scorer in the format. On Sunday, as South Africa claimed the title at the Wellington Sevens, Senatla crossed over the whitewash for the 180th time, beating Fabian Julies’ previous record of 179.

The Blitzboks beat Fiji 26-5 (their second win over them on the weekend). South Africa dominated the weekend and comfortably lead the World Series log.

Off the field, Senatla is one of the nicest guys in the world and a real sporting inspiration to youngsters.
