Sacha Feinberg-Mngomezulu has been included in the 28-man Stormers touring squad for their two-match tour to the United Kingdom.

The Stormers left Cape Town for a two-match trip which will see them take on Glasgow Warriors in Scotland and London Irish in England.

The squad will arrive in Glasgow on Wednesday ahead of their Vodacom United Rugby Championship match against Warriors on Sunday.

The following Sunday they will take on Irish in a return European Champions Cup clash, before returning to Cape Town to prepare to face ASM Clermont Auvergne at Cape Town Stadium on Saturday, 21 January.

Feinberg-Mngomezulu and Stefan Ungerer were both selected in the group having recovered from injury, while Imad Khan and Simon Miller are on their first tour and in line to make their Stormers debut.

Stormers head coach John Dobson says that this two-week tour will be a real test for the depth of the squad.

“We have two tough games in conditions vastly different to what we have experienced at home in the last month, so this will be a real test for us,” Dobson said.

“There are some experienced players missing through injury, but we are excited to see what the players coming in can offer and looking forward to the chance for the squad as a whole to grow and learn on tour together,” he added.
