John Dobson’s Stormers chase a fourth win on the trot since he took over as coach as they host the Jaguares at Newlands on Saturday afternoon.

Their perfect record was under threat as they visited the Lions in Johannesburg, but a late Ruhan Nel try sealed a 33-30 win.

This was a significant victory for the Stormers, as the altitude at Emirates Airline Park makes it a difficult venue to visit.

“We’re not operating at half our capacity, and that’s really frustrating. I want to see us play more rugby. We’re three from three, but we’re not firing, so I suppose that’s good, that we can still get so much better,” Dobson said post-match, as quoted by SARugbyMag.

If the Stormers have another gear to find, that probably spells trouble for the Jaguares, who have two wins out of three in Super Rugby 2020, but have not yet played away from home.
