Springbok flyhalf Morne Steyn officially retired from international rugby on Tuesday, 19 October.

Morne Steyn, who helped the Springboks to a 2-1 series win over the British & Irish Lions earlier this year, made the decision to retire his international boots after returning home from the Rugby Championship.

He informed the Springbok management that he wanted to spend more time with his family and made himself unavailable for the November tour of the United Kingdom.
