With two and a half months to go until the match kicks off, there is every expectation that those remaining 17 000 seats will be filled and the ‘sold out’ signs will go up.

It’s worth remembering that this clash at Twickenham takes place just two weeks before the 2023 Rugby World Cup gets under way in France.

For many it serves as the perfect ‘curtain raiser’ before heading to France for the global showpiece.

Don’t miss the chance of witnessing one of rugby’s greatest rivalries, but this time in the UK and at home of rugby – Twickenham.

Tickets are available via Ticketmaster and the RFU.

LIVE UPDATES: SPRINGBOKS’ ROAD TO THE RUGBY WORLD CUP

THE BACK STORY

It was announced in October last year that the blue-ribbon fixture of Test rugby – South Africa vs New Zealand – will have one final instalment before heading to the 2023 World Cup.

This time, they won’t meet in a specific competition or tournament; instead, they will play a once-off match at Twickenham.

The Test, scheduled for Friday, 25 August, will be a once in a lifetime opportunity for fans as it will be just the seventh showdown between the bitter rivals played at a neutral venue, and indeed only the second between the Springboks and All Blacks at the ‘Home of the Rugby’.

The last time being the semi-final of the 2015 World Cup.
