The tournament was hard hit by Covid-19 travel restrictions with the vast majority of it taking place in Australia.

As a result, the Wallabies played FIVE of their six matches on home soil, with the Springboks hosting two in South Africa and the All Blacks one in New Zealand.

The Pumas played all six of their matches on the road.

The All Blacks finished with 25 log points with the Wallabies second with 18.

The Springboks, who were the defending champions, could only manage third spot overall despite an epic win over the All Blacks in Gold Coast on Saturday.

The Pumas finished bottom – and winless.

The overall win was the All Blacks’ seventh in the nine editions of the Rugby Championship as we know it today after Argentina joined the Tri-Nations in 2012.
