Just when you think you’ve seen it all from Duhan van der Merwe, the South African-born Scotland winger finds a way to amaze the rugby world again. Check out the latest trick he pulled off in the Six Nations.

Scotland didn’t have it all their own way in this Test against the plucky Italians, but they managed to hang on to clinch a dramatic 26-14 win to ensure they finish third in the Six Nations standings behind Ireland and France.

Van der Merwe would score the first try of the game and he did so in sublime fashion.

From a quick tap in front of the posts, the ball was swung wide and Huw Jones went on a darting run before firing off a long pass to van der Merwe, who flung himself in the air to keep his feet from going into touch and to see off the attention of the Italian cover defender.
