Those to have put pen to paper on extending their stays in KwaZulu-Natal are lock duo Reniel Hugo and Emile van Heerden, prop Dian Bleuler and fullback Anthony Volmink.

Hugo and Van Heerden have both re-signed until 2025, while Bleuler and Volmink have committed until 2024.

Sharks looking to build a top-class squad

The contract extensions were all confirmed via social media, as the Durban outfit look to build their squad ahead of several high-profile arrivals in the off-season, including Springbok lock Eben Etzebeth, centre Rohan Janse van Rensburg and Lions duo Vincent Tshituka and Carlu Sadie.
