Jean-Luc and Daniel du Preez, who are the sons of former scrumhalf great Robert du Preez, both began their professional careers in Durban, but left the team for Manchester-based Sale Sharks in 2019.

However, according to Sunday’s Rapport newspaper, it’s been speculated that the Sharks will attempt to re-sign the now 26-year-old brothers.

Jean-Luc has played 13 Tests for the Springboks while Daniel has six caps to his name.
