Blitzboks: When they play at Toulouse Sevens on Friday, 12 May
Here’s when the Blitzboks will be in action at the Toulouse Sevens this weekend. It’s a daunting pool draw for the Springboks Sevens side!

The Blitzboks’ season of woe continued at their most recent tournament in Singapore in April when they finished in a tie for 12th-place.

And post-tournament things got even worse for the Springboks Sevens side when the draw for the 10th and penultimate leg in Toulouse, France was conducted.
The tournament will be played from 12-14 May.

The Blitzboks were drawn in Pool C alongside Fiji, hosts France and the USA.
Fiji are currently ranked third, France fourth and the USA in eighth place.
The Blitzboks slipped to seventh after their performance in Singapore.

Meanwhile, Pool A should see New Zealand face straight-forward progress to the Cup quarter-finals after the log-leaders were drawn alongside Uruguay, Kenya and Canada – none of which are in the top 10 of the standings.
Pool B comprises Argentina, Great Britain, Spain and Germany, while Pool D will see Samoa, Australia, Japan and Ireland battle it out.

The Blitzboks will begin their tournament against hosts France on Friday, 12 May at 14:35 (SA time).
They will also play Fiji at 21:03 the same day, with their final pool game in Stade Ernst-Wallon against the USA on Saturday, 13 May at 13:49 (SA time).

Meanwhile, the 11th and final round of the season will take place in London on 20-21 May.
