The SABC has issued a HUGE update on the much-talked about broadcasting debacle for the 2023 Rugby World Cup.

In a statement published on their official social media platforms, the SABC said they have been in constant engagements with MultiChoice.

Furthermore, the public broadcaster said they have met all the requirements to conclude the agreement with the TV rights holders for the Rugby World Cup.

At this stage, the SABC is waiting for a feedback from MultiChoice before informing the public on which games will be on free-to-air channels.

Saturday, 23 September – Springboks v Ireland (Stade de France, Paris). Kick-off time: 21:00
Sunday, 1 October – Boks v Tonga (Stade Velodrome, Marseille). Kick-off time: 21:00
