The South African website takes a look at what has happened to the heroic starting Springbok XV that memorable day at Ellis Park in Johannesburg, continuing with lock turned eighthman Mark Andrews.

Mark Gregory Andrews was born on 21 February 1972 in Elliot in the Eastern Cape. Andrews made his international test debut for South Africa on 11 June 1994 against England in Cape Town.

He went on to play 77 test and 13 mid-week games for South Africa. Andrews formed a formidable lock combination with Kobus Wiese and later Krynauw Otto.

Andrews started the World Cup as a lock but was shifted to the backrow with great success.
