Bulls keep teenage sensation at Loftus Versfeld until 2027

The Bulls have announced that promising teenage wing Canan Moodie has extended his contract at Loftus Versfeld until 2027.

The Bulls have announced that promising teenage wing Canan Moodie has extended his contract at Loftus Versfeld until 2027.

The 19-year-old was one of the Bulls’ star performers in the recent United Rugby Championship (URC) which culminated in a defeat in the final for the Pretoria side.

Moodie scored four tries in his debut URC season and started in the Bulls’ 18-13 title loss to the Stormers in a memorable all-South African showdown at the Cape Town Stadium.

Moodie’s contract extension comes on the back of renewals for flyhalves Johan Goosen (2026) and Morne Steyn (2023), centre Cornal Hendricks (2024), prop Jan-Hendrik Wessels (2024), lock Ruan Nortje (2025), scrumhalf Keagan Johannes (2026), prop Mornay Smith (2026) and loose forward Elrigh Louw (2027).
