EXCLUSIVE: British and Irish Lions tour moved from Joburg to Cape Town!
The remaining matches of the British and Irish Lions tour have been moved from Johannesburg to Cape Town.

The remaining matches of the British and Irish Lions tour have been moved from Johannesburg to Cape Town, TheSouthAfrican.com can exclusively reveal.
According to sources known to TheSouthAfrican.com, the two Test matches that were set to take place at the FNB Stadium will now be staged at the Cape Town Stadium.
The Springboks and the British and Irish Lions were set to wrap up the tour with three Tests – one in Cape Town and two in Johannesburg.

The first Test had already been scheduled to take place in Cape Town on 24 July, with the remaing two penciled for Johannesburg.
However, sources said the unrest which mostly affected Gauteng and KwaZulu-Natal was the reason for the two Test matches to be moved to the Mother City.

The dates for the second and third Test matches between the Springboks and the British and Irish Lions remain unchanged.
The second Test match will still go ahead as planned on 31 July while the final Test match will take place on 7 August.
