Late change to All Blacks team: Luke Jacobson falls ill

A Change to the All Blacks team to face the Springboks in the Rugby Championship team has been announced with Luke Jacobson falling ill and being replaced.

A change to the All Blacks team to face the Springboks in the Rugby Championship team has been announced with Luke Jacobson falling ill and being replaced. Ardie Savea moves to eighthman and Ethan Blackadder comes onto the flank, while Hoskins Sotutu slots onto the bench.

Trivia

The All Blacks are on a winning streak of nine Tests in a row. The last time they won more tests on the bounce was an 18-Test winning streak that ended in 2016.

This will be the 100th Test match between South Africa and New Zealand.

Trevor Nyakane will play in his 50th Test match – he made his debut in 2013 as a replacement against Italy in Durban.
